Mark Powell is originally from industrial South Wales in the UK. He has been married to Maria for twenty-seven years with two married daughters, Hannah and Bethan, and their first grandchild is due in a few weeks.
Mark is known to many from his former role as CEO of The Warehouse Group, New Zealand's iconic retailer. He now has a diversity of Board roles and is an Adjunct Professor at Auckland Business School.
In addition to his business and leadership roles, Mark is also a qualified Baptist Pastor, a lecturer at Carey Theological College and has an MA in Christian Apologetics from Biola University in the USA.
