Sermon Series: Redemptive Family Revisited The BBC news had a recent headline “Three Micronesian sailors stranded on a tiny, remote island in the western Pacific have been saved after rescuers spotted their SOS message on a beach.” These sailors wanted to be found. They had become lost when they ran out of fuel and drifted 200km off course. To be found they made a big sign on the beach spelling out SOS (Save Our Souls). Imagine if instead of putting out an SOS sign to help locate them, they had hidden among the trees when they heard the aircraft approach. The bible tells us that Adam and Eve hid when they heard God coming.
