Breakthrough  Prayers

Prayer is essential when you are seeking a spiritual breakthrough, wanting to go spiritually deeper or aiming to make spiritual progress. Prayer helps open the door of spiritual blessings and allows us to breakthrough spiritual strongholds and obstacles.
 
Much of the progress, momentum and advances in the church, including Greyfriars, can be linked to prayer. Prayer makes a difference and changes things. We all know how important prayer is but every now and then we need a gentle reminder and encouragement to get on our knees and pray again.
 
God blesses us richly each year, and at the start of a new year we are expecting God to be at work among us in wonderful ways, changing lives, deepening faith and guiding us to connect and serve in our community.
 
So at the start of this year we are focusing on prayer through the lives of Esther, Moses, Daniel and Nehemiah. Each of these was willing to be faithful but faced challenges that were more than they could deal with in their own strength – they called on God in prayer and found the needed breakthrough.
