The Bible is full of new beginnings and fresh starts. The Cross of Jesus was not a dead end—it was a new beginning. Peter, who had denied Jesus, was given a fresh start. The disciples, who initially went into hiding, were transformed by the Holy Spirit and courageously spread the Gospel. In Acts we read of the day of Pentecost when people of fifteen different nationalities heard the gospel and thousands found faith in Jesus.
In this sermon series we are looking at a variety of themes:
We begin the journey towards Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit, the beginning of the Church and the start of a mission to take the gospel to all nations.
