Search hints:
* Try a shorter stem: "mirac" will find both "miracles" and "miraculous".
* To find items with a New Zealand connection (e.g. books by or about a New Zealander), enter "NZ" in a subject search.
* You can search for more than one word. You will find items with all the words, e.g. A subject search for "biography NZ" will find biographies with a New Zealand connection.
* To search for audiovisual items, select "Author" and type DVD, video, or audio into the search field.
* The subject search looks in Title, Category, and Keywords

Only library members may borrow from the library.
You are automatically a library member if your contact details are in the current Greyfriars church directory.
Otherwise you need to fill out a form with your name, address, and telephone number, and give it to the librarian, an elder or the church office.
Books and videos are shelved by category, then by author.
A list of categories, their colour codes, and the main topics in each category is on the library notice board.
There are also alphabetical lists of items by author, by title, and by category.
If the book you want is out, you can reserve it by writing your name and telephone number in the "reserved" column in the borrowings book. You will be rung when the book is returned.
Print your name, telephone number, the date, and the full title of the book, video, or game in the borrowings book.
Please print clearly.
Please place the item in the returns box (or on top if the item won't fit) and record the date returned in the appropriate column in the borrowings book.
Videos and games are due one week from the date of borrowing.
Videos/games cannot be renewed (but can be borrowed again at a later date, once others have had a chance to borrow them).
Books are due by the end of the following month.
* if you withdraw a book on 5 April, it is due on 31 May.
* if you withdraw a book on 30 April, it is due on 31 May.
Books can be renewed till the end of the next month if no-one has signed the "reserved" column. Just fill out the borrowings book again.
